Fornino (FINALLY!)
So, near Manhattan Ave & Greenpoint Ave is a pizza place. Fancy pizza.
I've generally skipped it bc who wants to pay too much for just pizza? But they have a lunch special, Pizza & Salad for $12.

Old favs: Lobster Joint
Lobster Joint
They are working on their bkyard, I was looking forward to sitting in sun, or in the tent.
Inside has music!
PS. While eating this marvelous meal, I found a string of purple plastic. It looked like an onion, but on closer inspection, it was more like the wrapping of the bag that held the mussels. (I wasn't surprised or mad, if you order a meal with shells, be wary!)
I told the waitress & got a free ice cream sandwich as compensation. Made me extra happy!!

Tresca's in Watertown Center
There are great greasy diners in the suburbs of Boston.
This one is just a block away from the center of town. And right on the Boston Bomber trail, (a few more blocks away). Where the brother was shot & killed.
For the best dish, try the Veggie Omelette. (I ALWAYS take home leftovers, even when I go in there starving!)
The toast is served with butter so thick that you drink it in as you bite into it.
This is where you should go the moment you go off your diet. People used to eat like this all the time in the 1950's!
